"Valbadia Jazz Festival" - 13° ediz. - è una rassegna itinerante ospite di molteplici strutture che offre l’opportunitá di conoscere in breve tempo la Val Badia, seguendo il filo conduttore della musica. Ci si trova così in ristoranti, piazze, sale manifestazioni, rifugi, hotel, “castelli”, pub e cocktail bar che diventano punti di riferimento degli amanti della musica e della montagna. Hanno suonato per Val Badia Jazz, organizzato in collaborazione con Uniun Musicala y Culturala Ladina dal 1999, musicisti e formazioni italiane ed internazionali. Il concetto di Jazz Festival non è relegato solamente alla musica Jazz, è ormai divenuto un pretesto, come nei maggiori festival internazionali, per proporre "Musica" di vari generi. Una rassegna in cui il cantautorato di qualità può convivere con la marchin' band, il quartetto jazz e tango, con il gruppo rock o country...

Das V.B.J.F. ist eine musikalische Wanderung durch das facettenreiche Gadertal. Die Strassen, Theater, Chalets und Plätze der Ortschaften werden in den Tagen des Festivals mit anspruchsvollen Melodien verziert und auch die Bars und Hotels sind Gastgeber für so manchen musikalischen Hochgenuss. Musik- und Bergliebhaber können sich von den dargebotenen Live-Acts in malerischer Szenerie abwechselnd mitreissen und bezaubern lassen. In den letzten 12 Jahren haben zahlreiche nationale und internazionale Musikformationen das Festival bereichert. Der besondere Augenmerk der Veranstalter liegt an einem reichhaltigen Sammelsurium verschiedener Musikeinflüsse. Nicht nur Jazzformationen kommen zum Zuge, sondern sie teilen sich die Bühne mit Songwritern, dem feurigen Tango, anheimelnden Countryklängen und manchmal wird den Zuhörern auch der Marsch geblasen. Somit wird das “V.B.J.F.” zu einem Ereignis, welches jedweiligen Ohransprüchen gerecht wird.

The festival is a summer season of jazz, funk, blues & pop music held at various venues in Val Badia, giving visitors a quick tour of the valley in time to the music. Restaurants, squares, halls, refuges, hotels, castles, pubs and cocktail bars will become points of reference for lovers of music and mountains. Val Badia Jazz has been organised in collaboration with the Uniun Musicala y Culturala Ladina since 1999, and Italian and foreign musicians and groups have played there. The concept of a Jazz Festival doesn’t just mean jazz, by now that’s just a pretext, as in the major international festivals, for offering music of various kinds.
